Urban Foresters & Equivalents

These include urban foresters, city foresters, city arborists, and city horticulturalists. Each of these professionals oversees their community’s tree program so as to improve the quality of life for all citizens through trees. They work hard to help initiate tree plantings, tree maintenance, training, education, local policies, research, and promote the many benefits trees provide
